Vehicle Description
1973 Chevy Vega drag car, roller. Alston 2x 3 square tube chassis from fire wall to back and Alston 12 point cage. 4 link suspension with coilovers by chassisworks and narrowed ford 9 disc brake rear end with 4.11 pro gears on a Detroit locker. 10 gallon fuel cell with braided line to the front, holly blue electric pump. Front is 5 lug S10 spindles and V8 springs and motor mounts (car is set up for Chevy small block). Has switch panel by chassisworkschassisworkschassisworks and sport comp. Gauges (water, volt, temp., and oil). MSD digital 6 plus ignition system and coil with remote timing dial. Rear are 12 x 28 x 15 Hoosier slicks on center line wheels, front are DS-2 moroso 4.5x 25 x15 runners, both front and rear wheels and tires are brand new. This car was being built, so every part described above is new. Drawbacks are, some inside tin has to be finished, but I have it. Rack and pinion steering is not installed, I also have it. It needs a front windshield, I have chrome for it. All 4 rotors and calipers are brand new but brake line plumbing needs to be done. Also I have a wilwood brake peddle system complete with master cylinders to be installed. The body has no cancer, but does have a rust spot on drivers side of the hatch at the bottom of the window and one dent on drivers side behind rear fender well. It has a 1974 glass nose and original hood just placed on it (we were going to pin it on). All the big expensive stuff is done but it needs to be finished. I have the receipts. Hate to sell it, my son and I were building it but he is away at school (UTI) and I have no time to finish it. More pics. available. PLEASE BID ONLY IF INTERESTED.
